I am a landscape and nature photographer. I have a passion for hiking, kayaking and enjoying the beauty of our planet. My work focuses on natural and coastal Florida as well as my travels.

My interest in photography began during a trip to Yellowstone National Park in 2009, where I was equipped with only a point-and-shoot camera. I wanted to document our trip and hopefully get a shot or two worth displaying in our home. While reviewing my shots and post processing, I found I enjoyed the process and knew I wanted to do more.

I entered the DSLR world in 2010 with a Nikon D5000 and upgraded to full frame with a Nikon D750 in 2017.

Unlike many professional photographers, or those with a lot of time to dedicate to their art, my opportunities to get out on my own to find the perfect scene and wait for the lighting to be just right are limited. Instead, my camera follows me when I’m hiking with my dad, going on adventures with my daughter, traveling with my wife, or simply a day at the zoo or park with my family. In a way, this adds personal value to my photos since I usually have wonderful memories of the family time attached to my shots.
